DFreds Triggers​

  • You can turn on a button in the Settings sidebar that opens your trigger list.
  • When you import the examples, you now choose which set to import: basic, complex, or dnd5e.
  • Triggers now support events and actions specific to dnd5e, which are explained in the wiki.
  • There are 14 new dnd5e examples you can import.

DFreds Status Effects​

v3.2.3 to v3.2.4

New

  • A new button in the Settings sidebar opens the status effects configuration, as long as you have the latest Lib: DFreds UI Extender.
  • Status effects work better with the leveled effects in DFreds Convenient Effects.

DFreds Comprehensive Keybinds​

v2.1.0

  • A new keybinding closes all open windows, so you can set Shift+Escape to close everything while Escape still closes only the active window, and it has no key set by default.

Free Modules​

DFreds Effects Panel​

  • The panel now shows effects that have their icon set to always show.

  • Switching scenes no longer causes an error in the console.

DFreds Convenient Effects​

DFreds Triggers​

  • DFreds Triggers is now out, letting you set up automatic reactions to what happens in your game.
  • You can now split any and all conditions into separate blocks.
  • Autocomplete gives better suggestions while you build document changes and conditions.

Fixed

  • Triggers no longer set each other off in unintended loops.

DFreds Status Effects​

v3.2.0 to v3.2.2

New

  • The status effects configuration screen has a fresh look.
  • A new button lets you duplicate an existing status effect.

Fixed

  • Importing no longer stops partway when the file contains a value the module does not support.
  • Your effects are sorted right after an import finishes.
  • The configuration screen refreshes itself once an import finishes.

DFreds Comprehensive Keybinds​

Hi everyone! 👋

DFreds Pocket Change has been sitting untouched for a couple of years. It's back, rebuilt from the ground up, and it works in Foundry v14.

If you haven't used it before, it puts money on an actor so your players have something to loot. Drop a token on the canvas and the module rolls up currency for it and writes it onto the actor.

Here's what changed:

  • System Agnostic: It used to be a dnd5e module only. Now, you can configure it for any system.
  • Treasure Configuration: Everything can now be configured under the new configuration menu in the settings.
  • New Filters: Filters help you automate when a token generates currency, and when one does not. Not everyone carries change around in their pockets (especially if they don't have pockets)!
  • Generate Currency: Every actor sheet has a Generate Currency control in its header for GMs, which ignores filters and replaces what the actor is carrying.
  • Detailed Chat Messages: Turn on the chat message setting and every roll and its result is posted to GMs, along with the currency the actor ended up with.

On dnd5e, it defaults to the Individual Treasure tables by Challenge Rating from the Dungeon Master's Guide (like it did before).

It's free and available for everyone right now!

I'm announcing a new premium module: DFreds Triggers.

It allows you to define events, conditions, and actions to help automate your game. You pick the event to watch for, add conditions that narrow down when it fires, and then list the actions to run. All triggers can be setup through the interface rather than written as macros, and anything that is not a predefined action can still run as a macro or script.

It will be available for the Early Access tier for at least the next month, before moving to the Supporter tier.

WARNING: This one should truly be considered Early Access. Last time I checked, there were 646 unique combinations of events and actions, and that's not considering the conditions that alter when events fire and the fact that a single event can fire multiple actions.

It replaces Foundry's notifications entirely, so everything raised by Foundry or by any other module is rendered by it automatically. Everything shown during the session is kept in its own sidebar directory, so a notification you missed isn't gone for good, and module authors can attach action buttons that still work from that history.

It's available for everyone right now!
